Volume 12 List of Chapters

Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi Vol 12 (story by Yūma Midori, art by Laruha) 

Apologies for the veeeery looooong hiatus. I didn't even make time to wish everyone happy birthday, but I hope everyone has been having a lovely year so far. I know the world can be a messy place, but I hope all of you are doing well. 

It's been more than two years since I promised to translate the table of content for Vol 12... but I finally got it here. Below is the list of chapters for the Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi novel Volume 12 that I translated from the Kadokawa site. I will add links to my translations for Vol 12 whenever I finish each chapter/section. 

Meanwhile, news from the translating desk: I'm still working on Vol 7 Ch 6, but since it has no Ōdanna-sama, I have to say I am lacking the motivation I need to move on with that chapter. I'm still working on it though, cos it has important stuff there. However, to break the hiatus further, I think we all deserve some Aoi-Ōdanna moments. Therefore, the next chapter that I'm going to translate is from Vol 12 Ch 13 ("The night Ōdanna-sama stayed at my place"). I might need a month to translate it, so please return in mid April to see where I'm at. After translating Vol 12 Ch 13, I'll go back to Vol 7 Ch 6...unless Vol 12 Ch 14 detracts me, in which I'll do that first before going back to Vol 7 Ch 6.

So, please be patient with me, but please rest assured that I'm still on this train. As you can see from the Table of Content below, Vol 12 (and 11) has many Aoi-Setsu moments that I want and need to translate, cos I have no idea if this light novel will ever be translated into English...

The Memoirs of Bed and Breakfast for the Spirits 

Summary

Currently living in Kakuriyo, Aoi’s reminiscing. This is a story about her casual days she spent with her ayakashi friends.

Upon marrying Ōdanna-sama of Tenjin-ya, Aoi was working as the apprentice for the Great Proprietess when some ayakashi who are studying abroad in Utsushiyo started contacting her for advice. Problems increased as exchanges between the two worlds increased. Looking back on her experiences, Aoi decided to write tips about how humans and ayakashi can get along. Afterwards, Ōdanna-sama came along, and flowers bloom in the old tales…

The background story of Aoi’s decision to live in Kakuriyo. Ōdanna-sama’s memories of establishing Tenjin-ya. Chibi’s great adventure. A memoir of the casual days of Aoi and her ayakashi friends.
