Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi

Laruha's gorgeous art book, containing e.g., art works of Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi Gosh, apologies for being so inactive lately. Too many IRL deadlines to finish… BUT, I have finished transcribing Vol 7 Ch 4 (yaay!), so I can start translating it! It is 20 A4 pages, so I will need about a month to finish translating, so hopefully I can finish it by mid-September or so. Gomen… But Vol 7 Ch 4 has an interesting tidbit about Ōdanna-sama, and the intelligence comes from Byakuya-san. So, it’s definitely worth the wait IMO. Now, in the meantime, I have more interesting tidbits. I recently purchased several Kakuriyo books that I want to share with you. The first one is Vol 12 of the light novel (I need to translate the table of contents soon!). The second one is Vol 8 of the manga in Japanese. Byakuya is one of my favourite characters, and he's prominent in Vol 7 Ch 4 ( Source ) It was still 19 December 2021 when I started writing this post, and it was a year ago on 19 Dec 2020 that I decided to make this blog to celebrate the beautiful writing that is Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi. Unexpectedly, the blog has slowly but surely attracted readers from around the world. Visitors from the United States, the Philippines and Indonesia are the big three visitors, followed by Russia, Malaysia, Brazil, the Netherlands, Italy, Mexico and Australia. I have made sure that my own visits are not counted in the blog, hence Australian visitors should truly reflect the trend that there are many readers in Australia who follow the Kakuriyo story. Nevertheless, we have other readers coming from other countries as well: Singapore, India, Canada, the UK, Vietnam, Germany, Poland, Thailand, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, etc. I even had visitors from the Dominican Republic, South Africa, Moro...

FINALLY, below is my translation of Volume 10 Chapter 5. It’s a very long chapter (24 pages, A4 size without notes), but I’ve decided to make it into one post to facilitate seamless reading. To give a perspective, at the start of the chapter, Aoi is already in Yōto and already en route to rescue Ōdanna-sama from the prison. But, of course, she would encounter obstacles, and that’s what you’d be reading in the first half of the chapter.  Just keep reading, it will make sense.  I have a busy November ahead of me, so I will only be able to return to Volume 7 Chapter 4 in early December.
