Season Two Ep 6 stills

New stills have been dropped for S2E6, and since two of them are about Ōdanna-sama, I just have to post them here. I originally posted the visual of the young Ōdanna-sama in the post about S2E5 review, but since I found out about some more stills, I just have to make a separate post. As such, this post is just about me narrating the stills. I saw some of these stills first from Otaku News (the one above, in particular), but apparently Kakuriyo Anime has been regularly posting more stills (more than the ones uploaded to X), and I didn't know about it! Gah!

Anyway, chronologically, we will see this one first, where Byakuya (and Sasuke-kun) rescued Aoi from that bastard Raiju.

Afterwards, Byakuya teleported Aoi and Sasuke-kun to the Yoto underground. Here, we have Byakuya, Aoi and Sasuke-kun welcomed by Shimon, the brother of Dr Saraku, in Shimon's clock shop called The Silhouette.

Next, Byakuya would narrate Ōdanna-sama's backstory, and thus we have Tenjin Castle, the precursor of Tenjin-ya. This castle was built to keep the "lid" that kept Ōdanna-sama imprisoned in the underground. It's also possible that this shot is the first iteration of Tenjin-ya when they still didn't have a lot of capital etc; i.e., Ōdanna-sama et al just basically turned the Castle into an inn based on Ōgondoji-sama's vision.

Then we have the creme de la creme, i.e., Byakuya meets the young Ōdanna-sama, or shall we say, Setsu.

Setsu was such a beautiful boy... and his eyes were (still are) so sincere that Byakuya knew immediately that this is the being that he had to serve after Suzume died...

Next, Aoi and Sasuke return to Tenjin-ya, and Aoi might try to coax Chibi to forgive her for being MIA.

And then we have the temari-zushi that Aoi, Ginji, Ai-chan and Chibi made for the Tenjin-ya crew. I can see myoga ginger there; I LOVE myoga!

The episode might end with Aoi and Ginji bringing these temarizushi to the Tenjin-ya crew.

It will be a very quick and packed episode!

Anyway, I like it that all stills I've seen for Ep 6 are well-drawn. Byakuya in particular looks more and more like the Byakuya in Season One. Hopefully the bad illustrators have indeed been reassigned to draw trees or background instead of drawing important characters.
