Season Two Ep 10 stills
First, I want to copy what I belatedly wrote in Ep 9 review here about Ranmaru and Ginji:
I skim-read the intermission between Ranmaru and Ginji, where Ranmaru again talked to Ginji about Aoi (Ranmaru can be such a noisy brother, but that's how he shows that he cares for his little brother Ginji, I guess). Anyway, Ranmaru asked how were things with Aoi, did Ginji still care for the girl? Ranmaru also commented how Aoi never talked about Ōdanna-sama, hence the Komainu wondered if she actually liked the Master at all. Ginji responded by telling how disturbed Aoi was when she realised that Ōdanna-sama might not be coming back to Tenjin-ya (back in Vol 7 Ch 1). Ginji then had a flashback about how Ōdanna-sama asked for his help when the Master decided to help Aoi. Ginji's flashback included the fact about the 'destiny-changing food' that Aoi ate... hence this week we might have a bit revelation there, and a bit more of Konishi Katsuyuki's voicing Ōdanna-sama during Ginji's flashback!
So, we have our gorgeous boys having a heart to heart conversation, and unexpectedly, Ranmaru looks pensive! Aww... he can be such a softie! However, Ginji looks pretty serious here, and he looks more like his S1 visual now. That's great, I like him drawn this way!

The animation seems to just improve the more the episodes are played. Can we all agree the S2E1-4 was a horrible fever dream??
I am sooo annoyed that E1-4 are badly animated! Like, we have Ōdanna-sama in Eps 1-3, fer cryin' out loud! Did the animators hate Ōdanna-sama or something?!
I do hope for Ginji's flashback about Ōdanna-sama's request to him... and I hope we have a beautifully animated Ōdanna-sama, even just for 5 seconds!
I’m especially hyped at the possibility to hear more of Ōdanna’s voice.
And the Ranmaru + Ginji moment?? I'm very much looking forward to it. My poor Ginji and his unrequited love. Them having a boys talk about love and all is so cute. Also totally agree his artstyle this episode looks good but i still wish his art was back to s1, like Odanna's poofy hair (I miss season 1 artstyle) but I'm happy with the fact we got a season 2.
And omg Kasuga and O-Ryō! The girls are together again (TnT) so happy.
I cant belive only two episodes left and there's still so much unanswered and no Odanna. There has to be a part 2!
But yes, we will have one boys talk and one girls' talk in Ep 10! So excited!
And yes two more episodes left after this week... which means we need to start begging for Gonzo and Kadokawa again for Season 3 (or at least S2 Cour 2)!
